Everything you need to know about workflow automation and working with me.

  • Workflow automation means using software to complete repetitive tasks automatically, without you having to do them manually each time. For example, instead of copying a form submission into your CRM by hand, a workflow does it instantly the moment a form is submitted.

  • Not at all. You just need to be able to describe how you currently do the task. I handle everything technical, the building, testing, and setup. You'll never need to touch any code.

  • I work with most tools small businesses use day-to-day, including Shopify, Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack, QuickBooks, most CRMs, Typeform, and hundreds more. If it has an API or integration capability, it can almost certainly be automated.

  • Almost anything repetitive. Common examples include sending notifications and reminders, logging data to spreadsheets, generating weekly reports, moving leads into a CRM, sending order updates to customers, and flagging low stock levels. If you do it more than once and it follows a set of rules, it can almost certainly be automated.

  • Yes. Automation is often more impactful for small businesses than large ones, because every hour saved goes directly back to you. You don't need high volumes or a big team for automation to be worth it. If you're doing the same task more than a few times a week, it's worth automating.

  • It's a free 30-minute call where you walk me through your typical week. I ask questions about what tasks you repeat most, where time gets wasted, and what tools you use. By the end of the call, you'll have a clear picture of what can be automated, regardless of whether you hire me.

  • Simple workflows are typically live within 3–5 days. More complex multi-step automations involving several platforms usually take 1–2 weeks. I'll give you a clear timeline before any work begins.

  • No. Everything is built and tested in an isolated environment first. Nothing touches your live business until you've reviewed it and are happy for it to go live.

  • Every workflow comes with full plain-English documentation so you understand exactly what's running and why. You also get 30 days of free support after launch to cover any issues or adjustments. Ongoing maintenance packages are available if needed.

  • Workflows are built to be reliable, but platforms occasionally change their APIs or settings. If something breaks within the 30-day support window, I'll fix it at no extra cost. After that, fixes are available on an ad-hoc or retainer basis.

  • Pricing depends on the complexity of the workflow and the number of platforms involved. Simple single-step automations start from £150. More complex multi-platform workflows are quoted individually. Book a free audit call and I'll give you a clear quote before any commitment.

  • The automation tools used to run workflows (such as Make or n8n) may have a small monthly subscription depending on usage. typically £10–£30/month for most small businesses. I'll always be upfront about any running costs before work begins.

  • Yes, completely. There's no obligation to hire me afterwards. The goal of the call is to give you genuine value, a clear map of what's taking up your time and what could be automated, whether we work together or not.

  • Yes. If you want to continue building out automations over time, or want someone to monitor and maintain existing workflows, monthly retainer packages are available. Get in touch to discuss what would work for your business.

  • Absolutely. Most clients start with a single workflow to see the value before committing to more. You can hire me on a per-project basis with no ongoing obligation.
